Celebrations

Yesterday was my 65th birthday and today is my second blog anniversary. I don't think I was connecting my birthday with anything when I started the blog. It was just coincidence.

Last night we went to Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner. Nothing fancy but I like to eat there occasionally. I actually wore an outfit that was a little sparkly, but I could not for the life of me figure out how to make a full length picture using the mirror. When I backed up enough to get the full length, everything looked like a black blob. Anyway, since I'm trying to get past my phobia of pictures, here is what I managed to take.

I had the grilled salmon with a baked potato and a side salad. It was delicious and used up a lot of my points. Using their nutritional information and guessing at some of the things, I came up with 23 points which is very close to what I'm allowed for a whole day (26 to be exact). I had saved points through the week and still have 15 or so extra to use before we start a new week on Sunday.

I'm off to start my day which will be spent, in large part, in the car driving back and forth to Hattiesburg again. Hopefully, I'll get back to Jazzercise tomorrow.
