Most of us are busy with holiday things and I'm no exception. We've done all the decorating we plan to do and the gifts are being purchased online. I'm not quite finished yet.
For the first time in many years, I will not see my oldest daughter and her husband during the holidays and that is sad. Thank goodness for Amazon and wish lists and all that. Although most things are ordered online, the stockings are a different matter. They are not expensive, but they are traditional and I have everything purchased and almost ready to be shipped out on Monday.
We always open our gifts on Christmas Eve. The stockings are for Christmas morning. I wrap each and every item because that is also tradition. It makes it more fun, we think.
Along with the shopping and planning, I have other things to attend to which are not fun but necessary. Hopefully, all will get done in a timely manner and on we'll go.
I meant to play the Mega Millions Lottery yesterday but, as usual, I forgot. Since nobody won, and there is another drawing on Tuesday, we have time to put our two bucks in for a chance at being rich. With odds of 1 in 254 million, it's not likely we'll win. Still, you just never know.
