Happy New Year!
It's the traditional time to be making New Year's resolutions which, in my own experience, are pretty much forgotten by Valentine's Day. I did it for most of my life. I would start out hopeful, do well for a week or two, maybe even a little longer but "things" would get in the way and I would go back to what was familiar even if it was not helpful.
The blogs I've read in the last couple of days are mostly shying away from the idea of resolutions. Instead, they are making 2014 goals and I can see the difference there even if it is small. :)
As for me, I want to continue to maintain my 128 to 130 weight this year. I also want to be more diligent about my exercise. I got new yoga DVDs for Christmas and I'm going to put them to good use.
We stayed in last night and I was asleep by 11:30. I was never a big "ring in the New Year" person and nothing much has changed there.
So for all of you who read my blog and encourage me, I wish you a Happy New Year and blessings in 2014.
